"Since my initial purchase at the Kearney Mesa Location my experience has been 5 star. I switched to the Downtown Shop for all my service needs as they are close by. Recently, I had an intermitant electrical problem with a dead bike. Evan picked up my bike at home and took it in to the Downtown Shop, where Danny and the Service Staff, especially Jerahmee worked it into their already booked service schedule. In my job, I provide and deal with customer service issues daily. It's important to me and when I receive it at this level I appreciate it highly. "Dear Mr. Shelby, I wanted to personally tell you how happy I was with the purchase of two H-D sportsters. My wife Kristen and I had virtually no riding experience and we had a lot of questions. We knew that we wanted Harleys, but were unsure of which model. Also, we were not prepared to spend a ton of money on something we had never done before. After visiting several different Harley dealerships in both San Diego and Orange County areas and seeing the various models, we were probably more confused than before we had started looking. That is until we visited your dealership in downtown San Diego. There, we met Jesse Henderson. While other dealerships virtually ignored us, Jesse gave us a friendly greeting. Jesse took the time to listen to us and explained details in easy to understand language for us beginners. Jesse explained the importance of finding a motorcycle that fits. As it turned out the XL low was a perfect match for Kristen and the XL was perfect for me. We went with the 883 engines beacause speed was not an issue; plus we were going to be riding solo. This is a long way of saying "thank you" to Jesse (and Fred in parts) and to all of the employees we encountered in your downtown store. We filled out the customer service surveys we received in the mail, but wanted to personally acknowledge the excellent service we received from Jesse. "Just a quick "Kudos" and a big THANK YOU to Matt and the outstanding Service crew at San Diego Harley! I was working Route Safety for the Breast Cancer 3-DAY this weekend and suddenly needed repairs - and in a hurry. The Breast Cancer 3-DAY is a 60 mile walk-a-thon (over 3 days) that raises money and awareness for the "Komen for the Cure" Foundation. The Route Safety Crew are volunteer motorcyclists who assist the 4,600 particpants in the cross walks along the route. We leap frog from intersections to help ensure safe passage for the walkers. Being from out of town and near closing time, I was concerned that I would have to wait till Monday and finish the ride without the repairs. Matt reassured me from my original phone call and had me back on the road in no time. The repairs were done so quickly, I didn't even get a chance to finished my complimentary coffee!! Now that's fast. Thanks to their quick response, I returned to the 3-DAY charity and never missed my route assignments. We take our responsibilities very seriously on the road and if my bike was down it would have required a major reshuffle of personnel. Clearly Matt and the Service Staff take their jobs seriously as well. Thank you very much Matt and Ian, I owe you a cold malted beverage next time I'm in town! Greg Palmdale, Ca"

"I would like to thank the staff at Downtown San Diego Harley for the treatment I received when I bought my new Harley last week. My birthday was August 6th, and my wife gave me the go ahead to get a new Harley. I came in to your shop and was immediately impressed with the hardwood floor and overall great atmosphere! There was no pressure, and Rusty too great care of me. My 2008 Street Glide is the best! I love the ABS brakes and cruise control as well. "I wanted to send an email in Behalf of Fred Meza. I live in Sacramento and was on personal business in San Diego. I stopped by your shop and was looking for lights for my Road King. Fred helped me out, he took the time to look up what i needed and sold me the parts. When i returned home to install the parts on my bike, I found out I was missing two headlight brackets. I visited San Diego last week and I returned to your shop, I spoke with Fred again and told him what happened he was approachable and said, "How can I help you?" I told him the situation, he then said, "i remember you, you were here with you son." i said yes. (that was over a month ago) Fred went out of his way again to help with the missing parts. Please recognize Fred Meza for me for his customer service. Your store has quality sales people like Fred that provide great customer service, thanks again! Joe Santana"
